I couldn’t help but laugh watching Lana, an adorable Golden Retriever, completely lose her cool the moment she noticed her owner enjoying the pool outside.
In a hilarious Instagram clip posted by @lanathegoldenretriever_, the young pup stands behind a glass door, panting like she has just run a marathon, while tracking every splash with growing frustration.
The whole moment feels like a perfect example of backyard FOMO. The video, shared just five days ago, quickly caught attention and racked up 44K likes.
It turns an ordinary swim into something instantly relatable, especially if you have ever seen a puppy desperate to be part of the fun.

The video comes with the caption, “POV: my puppy has FOMO,” and it captures Lana, a 7 month old pup, stuck inside while her owner relaxes in the pool.
That simple separation is what makes the clip so funny.
It starts with a wide shot of the pool, with Lana watching from behind a large glass door.
The camera then moves in closer, showing her standing near the glass, tongue out, looking like she is trying to solve a very serious problem.
She never actually makes it into the water, but she does not need to. Her pacing and intense stare say everything.
