There’s something about dogs and the odd little noises they make that always cracks people up.

Whether they’re snoring in their sleep, munching on a treat, or goofing off with their furry buddies, these quirky sounds always manage to brighten someone’s day.

In a video that’s now gone viral, one Golden Retriever named Lucie stole the spotlight with her wild sound effects while heading downstairs.

As she zipped past her cat sibling, she let out a series of noises that only got funnier with each step.

Lucie, a 7-year-old Golden Retriever, has apparently turned stair-running into her own form of comedy.

Her owner, Cara Louise Owens, posted a video on Instagram capturing the moment, and it’s safe to say, Lucie had people cracking up.

Before the dog started her descent, Owens gave followers a heads-up: “take a moment to listen to Lucie running down the stairs.”

Standing at the bottom, Owens called out “come,” and Lucie wasted no time. The moment she heard her cue, she darted down the stairs, letting out the most unexpected series of sounds.

Each step came with a new squeaky noise that had both her owner and viewers laughing out loud.

Once she hit the bottom, Lucie capped it off with a playful hop, turning the clip into something downright delightful.

While Lucie’s silly noises were the main event, her cat sibling Kevin didn’t go unnoticed. Blending almost perfectly into the carpet, Kevin watched Lucie zip by without moving a whisker.

The contrast between Lucie’s energy and Kevin’s calm presence made the video even more entertaining. No wonder the post racked up more than 363,000 likes.

People online couldn’t get enough of Lucie’s antics. Many commented on how adorable and odd her sounds were, while others pointed out the quietly observant Kevin.

One fan even dubbed the cat the “stair guard.” Owens, clearly used to Lucie’s dramatic flair, lovingly called her the “vocal gal” and said life with Lucie is never boring.

Lucie turned seven in October 2024, and her birthday came with a bit of drama.

In a celebratory post, Owens shared that Lucie had undergone abdominal surgery after swallowing a “spikey cocktail stick.”

Thankfully, she recovered well, and fans were happy to see her back to her usual goofy self.
