Dog Is ‘Mad’ At Mom For Delaying Dinner Over Artemis II Launch

NASA might want to run their launch schedule by pet parents next time. Poor Tucker from @tuckin.around.tx had his entire routine thrown off, and he was not happy about it.

According to his bio, this Golden Retriever is a pro at tongue-out naps, but when it comes to dinner, he is always right on time.

While people everywhere were glued to their screens watching the Artemis II launch, Tucker had something much more pressing on his mind.

This video shows the exact moment he decided that space exploration was getting in the way of something far more important, his dinner.

Dog is ‘MAD’ at Mom for Prioritizing Artemis II Launch Over dinner

In the clip, the living room is full of people getting ready to watch a big moment. Mom sits on the couch, and three young girls are gathered right in front of the TV.

Everyone cheers as the countdown hits zero, but then Tucker walks into the scene. He plants himself directly in front of his mom, staring straight at her and blocking part of the TV just as the rocket takes off.

For a dog that usually aims to please, it is a pretty bold move.

You can tell he is not impressed that some “space metal” is stealing the spotlight.

One viewer joked, “Houston we do actually have a problem—it’s now five thirty-FIVE.” Tucker clearly has no interest in space travel or rocket science. All he cares about in this moment is getting fed.

Golden Retrievers are known for loving food, and Tucker takes his meal schedule seriously. He does not even glance at the TV. Instead, he looks at his mom, then toward the kitchen, making his priorities very clear.

Another commenter imagined him thinking, “YOU’RE NOT ON THE SHIP! WHERE’S MY FOOD!”

“V unreasonable to delay dinner for history, Tucker thinks,” his owner wrote in the caption. The Artemis mission is expected to return to Earth on April 10, and hopefully Tucker has moved on by now.

One fellow pet owner shared that their dog had the same reaction during the launch.

One thing is clear, Tucker is a very hungry boy who knows exactly when it is time to eat. Hopefully, he got an extra scoop of kibble for waiting it out.
