His past was already full of pain, and the explosion only made things harder.
The rescue team shared that Boden spent most of his life chained up outdoors in brutal conditions. Things took a terrifying turn when he got caught in an explosion, and flames engulfed him.
With the heavy chain trapping him, there was no way to run. The Instagram post explained that Boden didn’t give up—he fought to break free, arriving at the rescue center with severe swelling from his desperate attempts to escape.
Emergency help came fast. Boden was rushed to NC State, where he received life-saving medical care and stayed for two weeks.
The video shows him being wheeled into the facility, bandaged and wearing a protective cone, as the team worked around the clock to treat his wounds. Saving his life wasn’t easy, and it took a team of people who believed in giving him a second chance.
Throughout the clip, you can see foster parents and medical staff constantly by his side, checking on his injuries and smothering him with affection.
