They’re more than just mobility aids—they make her happy. On May 7, her owner posted a charming video on Instagram that showed the dog’s sweet refusal to budge from the street unless her prosthetic legs were on.
The moment they were strapped on, she lit up and eagerly took off for her walk.

A touching video featuring a senior rescue dog named Amira has taken over Instagram, all thanks to her deep love for her prosthetic legs.
In the post’s caption, her owner opened with a playful line: “Have legs, will travel!!!!” Then they shared a little backstory, explaining how their “sweetest most loving” dog had spent more than nine years crawling on just two legs in Phuket, Thailand.
Now, at 11 years old, Amira has learned to walk with prosthetics—and she won’t go anywhere without them.
The video captured Amira lying in the street, completely still, making it clear she wasn’t about to take a step without her pink prosthetics. Once her human placed them on her legs, she instantly came to life.
Despite being asked to wait, she ignored that request and confidently began walking. Viewers couldn’t help but notice her excitement and love for being able to move freely.
As her owner summed it up in the caption, “She just wants to go go go.”
