TikTok’s rising star, a German Shorthaired Pointer named Delilah, is going viral for assisting her owner with a DIY project.
An almost too-cool-to-be-true clip shows the dog shining her headlight precisely where it’s needed while her dad hammers away.
Additionally, the two-year-old wears protective gear — a pair of glasses — while participating in the risky handyman work.
The TikTok video shows German Shorthaired Pointer focused on assisting owner
In the viral TikTok video, Delilah demonstrates that she is not only a loyal and playful pet but also quite skillful. The German Shorthaired Pointer helps her owner with a DIY project.
Initially, the clip shows her owner hammering a wall. The camera then pans to Delilah, who is sitting and flashing her headlight to assist. She appears excited and eager to help with the household projects for her loving family.
Delilah proves to be as obedient as she is proficient as a DIY project partner. At one point, her dad asks her to adjust the light, and she responds almost immediately.
Throughout the task, the two-year-old remains focused on assisting her owner. Notably, she is also a mindful canine, wearing safety glasses around dangerous and heavy tools.
It seems Delilah has prior experience with DIY tasks. In an earlier TikTok video, she is seen engaged in a similar activity with her owner, again wearing her safety gear and concentrating on helping her dad complete the project.
Commenters quickly praised Delilah’s impeccable abilities in the TikTok video. One user commended her as the “best assistant we’ve ever seen,” while another noted how “she stayed focused after being told.”
A third individual even called her a “supportive diva.”
